RETURNS

 

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

 

Non-returnable items:

  • Rosin
  • Bow hair
  • repairs and service

 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

 

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

 

Restocking Products

  • In some circumstances, we are happy to offer our consumers a conditional courtesy return if consumers want to exchange products purchased incorrectly provided the:
  • customer notifies The Bass Shop within 7 days of receipt of delivery of the product.
  • products are not opened, used and are still in pristine condition.
  • customer accepts a minimum restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price.
  • The Bass Shop may reject the return upon inspecting the condition of the products and will return the products to the customer at the customer’s expense.

 

Late or missing refunds

If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale or Demo Stock

The bass shop will have some ex-demo or secondhand goods available these are covered under our returns policy but only where the fault has outside that of what has already been described.

 

Consignment goods

Consignment good are sold in functional but used condition please inspect carefully as we do not refund on these items.

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at richard@thebassshop.com and send your item to: 334, parramatta Rd Stanmore, Sydney, NSW, 2048, Australia.

If item is not in stock, we will notify you and ship as soon as new stock arrives. In the case of a discontinued item we can offer you a similar product as a replacement.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received and ispected, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will be advised of your return.

 

Shipping your Return

To return your product, you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Request for a return does not automatically mean the return is accepted we will contact you after our assessment and notify you of the course of action to be undertaken.

 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Shipping

For most small to medium items The bass shop ships via Australia post within 5 days, unless using express in which it will be 1-2 days depending on which state you live in. Please be advised that these are generated estimates, we cannot control possible outside delays on the behalf of the shipper please allow time for your order to arrive.

For shipping on larger items a custom quote may be in required you can contact us for quotes and rates

Special orders, custom orders, and other handmade items can be subject to extended shipping time frames The Bass Shop is not responsible for these extended delays, as such cancellation and or refund of your order will not be accepted unless agree to by us.
